About Jesus Christ - Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He is God in the flesh. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, He lived a sinless human life and gave Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. After three days, He arose from the dead. His substitutionary death on the cross made provision for the redemption of men from sin... He ascended into Heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God where He is the One Mediator, fully God, fully man, in whose person is effected the reconciliation between God and man. He will return someday in power and glory to judge the world to consummate His redemptive mission. He now dwells in all believers as the living and ever present Lord.

He cultivates Christian character, comforts believers, and bestows the spiritual gifts by which they serve God through His church. He seals the believer unto the day of final redemption....

About the Church - A church is an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the Gospel... The local church seeks to extend the Gospel to the ends of the earth. The New Testament speaks also of the church as the Body of Christ which includes all of the redeemed of all the ages, believers from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation.

About Eternity - People were created to exist forever. Either we will exist eternally separated from God by sin in hell, or we will exist eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation in Heaven. There are no other possibilities. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence.
